And argh it's my first time drawing Bolin, I sure hope I didn't butcher him...

-edit- OTL several people have said that Iroh looked like Mako. Ugh Mako. xD I've made his face a squarer and eyes smaller, and made his hair more spongey

I hope this made him look less Mako-ish?

-editedit- He still looks like Mako! I got so confused and googled stuff and found Konietzko's sketch of Iroh [link] ... Is it just me or is his face much thinner and Mako-ish here compared to the cartoon screenshots? Which should I refer to! *A* Seriously guys, please tell me constructive stuff. If I drew Iroh in his uniform, would it be an immediate Iroh? Be honest with yourself! I hope people aren't just judging based on clothes >.>

At first glance I thought it was Mako, but after I read the Artist's Comments and really looked he does look like Iroh. XD Oh and LMAO at your "It's Broh if you squint?" I'm cracking up. anyway GREAT ARTWORK

This entire scene is just so comforting...lovely, rich colors and interaction on a gorgeous day~ I really like the soft colors used and such nice, realistic style being utilized, especially that impressive shading and amazing porportions! Their hands are great but their hair gets me, well...to be honest, mainly Iroh II

He looks so handsome, you did justice to this wonderful character!

No he does not appear like Mako at all! I think most people are just not paying attention or can't figure out that you can draw characters without their typical clothing.

You specified him clearly-first, his posture is a dead give away he is not Mako for it is regal and denotes a militaristic background and secondly, his hair and age definately separate him from the younger Bolin. You did splendid and I really like Iroh II's face shape and that fancy hair! I truly hope you will continue to draw him

o.o I knew right away it was Iroh and not Mako. For starters, Mako doesn't part his hair like that...also his features are sharper and more angular. That and I just can't see Mako sitting and drinking tea like that...that's obviously a man taking after his namesake.
